HOWDY

WELL UPDATE TIME.

LET'S SEE. JANAH HAS BEEN BUSY WITH HER 2 JOBS AND LEADERSHIP IN ON-FIRE. SHE IS REALLY TONING UP AT CURVES. SHE GETS A LOT OF EXERCISE WHILE SHE IS WORKING.SHE IS STILL SAVING EVERY DOLLAR SHE GETS FOR HER CANADA MISSIONS TRIP COMING UP. SHE HAS GOTTON A FEW PLEDGES IN SO THAT REALLY HELPS. I AM SO VERY PROUD OF THE WOMAN SHE HAS BECOME.

JOSH HAS A PART TIME JOB IN THE AFTERNOONS AS A VET TECH. HE LIKES IT AND MAKES GOOD MONEY. HE DOES GET BIT EVERY NOW AND THEN BUT IT DOESN'T BOTHER HIM.HE IS WORKING ON HIS SCHOOLING SLOWLY. HE IS NOT A BIG FAN OF SCHOOLWORK. MAYBE WORKING WITH A VET WILL GIVE HIM SOME DIRECTION FOR HIS LIFE. HE NEEDS A GOOD JOB SO HE CAN SUPPORT ME IN HIS OLD AGE.

EMILY IS EMILY. SHE IS DOING GREST WITH HER SCHOOLING. I WORK ALONG SIDE HER SO IT REALLY HELPS KEEP HER FOCUSED.SHE LOVES MISSIONETTES AND ENJOYS GOING TO ON-FIRE YOUTH. SHE ALSO HAS A PART TIME JOB BABYSITTING A FEW TIMES A WEEK FOR A CUTE 5 YEAR OLD NAME ALEXA. SHE GETS PAID SUPER WELL SO IT KEEPS HER WELL SUPPLIED WITH REDEMPTION CARDS. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THOSE ARE THEY ARE CARDS IN A CHRISTIAN CARD GAME.

MARTIN HAS BEEN PLUGGGING AWAY AT TEEN CHALLENGE. HE AND JOSH ARE GETTING READY FOR HUNTING SEASON. THEY ARE BOTH STILL IN THE HUNT FOR THEIR ELUSIVE FIRST DOE OR BUCK.

ME, I AM STILL PLUGGING AWAY AT BEING A MOM AND A WIFE. YOU ALL KNOW THE JOB THAT IS.

Well Martin passed his kidney stone so off to the lab it went. He is very relieved its over.

Janah is having a blast and hates to leave but alas she only has 1 week left. They are in the process of painting her room as we speak. It is white and she wants blue so she has a job to do when she gets home. My living room is still filled with her bedroom things.

Josh is doing well. He and his new friend are still alive and well. That is quite a relief that they didn't machete each other this month. He has a week of teen camp now and home he comes. I miss him and Janah so much.

Emily is still content with them gone. LOL. She is looking forward to janah's return but not so much for Josh. Oh well, she will have to adjust.

Looks like vacation this year will be at Atlantic beach NC since finances are quite tight right now.

That's about it for now. I miss you and love you Janah and Josh. See you the 3rd.

Husbands!!

OK SO IF ITS NOT THE KIDS IT IS THE HUSBAND. MARTIN WENT TO THE ER LAST EVENING WITH BACK PAIN. HE THOUGHT THE PAIN WAS SIMILAR TO HIS PANCREATITIS PAIN. ENDS UP, HE HAS 2 KIDNEY STONES. HIS PAIN IS GONE FOR NOW BUT HE WILL HAVE IT AGAIN WHEN THE STONE MOVES.

JANAH IS DOING WELL. THIS WEEK SHE HAS THE LITTLE CAMPERS AGES 6-8. LAST YEAR THEY KEPT HER UP ALL NIGHT HAVING TO GO POTTY AND MOST WERE STILL IN PULL UPS. SHE HAS 2 CAMPERS BACK FROM LAST YEAR. 1 IS LILLIAN. LILLIAN HAS A SPECIAL PLACE IN JANAH'S HEART AS HER MOTHER WAS KILLED WHILE SHE WAS AT CAMP 2 YEARS AGO. JANAH CAN STILL REMEMBER GOING TO THE FUNERAL. THE KIDS REALLY HAVE HER HEART. SHE LOVES THEM ALL SO MUCH.

I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM JOSH AS HE IS STILL OUT IN THE WILDERNESS WITH THE OPY PROGRAM. THEY WILL SOON START THEIR WEEK LONG HIKE THEN BE BACK TO ESPERANZA FOR TEEN CAMP. I AM SURE TO HEAR FROM HIM THEN.

EMILY IS STILL LOVING THE SINGLE CHILD THING. WE DO SCHOOL FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES EACH DAY SO I CAN KEEP HER SKILLS UP IN LANGUAGE AND MATH. SHE IS VERY MOTIVATED AND IS DOING WELL.

I AM ENJOYING NOT HAVING TO RUN KIDS ALL OVER. MY KITCHEN FLOOR WAS MOPPED MONDAY AND ITS STILL CLEAN. OH AND I HAVE HAD A FULL CUPBOARD OF TOWELS WHILE THEY HAVE BEEN GONE. BOY DO I MISS THEM AND THEIR FRIENDS ALL OVER MY HOUSE.

Hi all,

Had a busy weekend. It was celebrate weekend. A time full of services, activities, food and fireworks. The fireworks this year were once again fantabulous. During the fireworks Emily said she wished Janah was here to see them.

Janah is doing well at Esperanza. She is having a good time. I havent gotten a call that they are sending Josh home so I assume he is doing ok also.

Em is spending her days playing with friends, on the computer, doing a little school and watching TV.

Janah and josh I miss you both and love you.

SUNDAY JULY 2ND

OK its update time.

Well we got flooded out this week. What a job. Janah is gone and her room was taking in water. We had to carry her whole room upstairs. Anyone who has been in her room knows what a job that was. It is finally dry downstairs. The carpet has all been torn up and all her stuff and Josh's stuff is sitting in totes waiting on their return.

Janah is in Canada and loving it. I am so glad she has this opportunity in her life. Janah, I love you and I miss you and we didn't look through your stuff.

Josh has joined Janah in Canada. He is in the OPIE program there. A real outdoor program. He has met a friend already. They share similar interests in fire and machetes . Should be in interesting time for their leader.

Emily is enjoying the single child life. She gets anything she wants and no one is here to fight with her. I know in a week or 2 more she will be missing them.

Celebrate starts on Friday so things will be hopping around here. We are also hosting a 4th of July picnic for staff and interns who will be around.
